Cloth diaper give away

So as many of you know I have started on the process of cloth diapering. Andrew is now full time cloth at night, and we have Baby S' stash building now. One of the only reasons I had confidence to begin this journey was because an amazing class I took at Abbys lane in Manassas. They are an amazing group of ladies with extensive knowledge on cloth diapers. They had wonderful information and really gave us tghe confidence to jump in feet first :D They are now a part of a wonderful give away. January 5th

Today the painter came by and finished the babies room, I am so very excited to have it done. Brings me one step closer to her being here. Here is a shot of the room.

Later that night we went for a walk since it was still kinda nice, afterwards we went to starbucks for some decaf frappes and Andrew passed out 2min before we got out the car

January 4th

Today was the first day we had the painter come do baby S' room. We hung out and didnt have a nap, could explain why my cuddle bug crawled up next to me and passed out.




He was so snuggly, but def. didnt go to bed until almost 1030 :/ (sorry for the crappy cell picture)

January 3rd

So today, was a pretty frustrating day. We got Andrew a Leap star Write and learn for Christmas and he has been doing so great. He can write/trace all his letters with ease. So I sat down with him to Spell out his name and he FREAKED, he was screaming and crying that he didnt know how to write and A. I gave in and let it be, but we came back an hour or so later and after I "helped" him re learn he was all about it. Here are a few shots of the proud guy <3

January 2nd

Today, was pretty uneventful, the highlight for me was finishing off two hand made bows, I just learned how to make.

Isn't it so pretty, I cant wait to put it on our beautiful little bald baby, with a headband of course

Bringing in the new year, with sparkling...Cranberry juice?

Phew, It has been a long hard year 2011, but I am so glad you are behind me. Today marked the first day Of an exciting year with my wonderful family. We brought it in just right, with 2 of our close friends and our little family. We enjoyed a few appetizers and some Champagne(sparkling cranberry juice for this pregnant lady.) and watched the ball drop in Time Square(on TV of course)When it was time I firmly planted a kiss on Mitch and Andrew and silently thanked God that he was giving us another year together and a beautiful baby girl to look forward to. This post marks the first of 365(cross fingers) to come. They may not come every night, and it maybe boring on some days, but I promise you stick with me and their will be quite a few adventures. The birth of our daughter, Mitch's best friends visit, our trip to Florida..ect..Enjoy the ride :D
